This stylish Mid Century sideboard has been professionally restored. The cabinet is partially painted grey on the outside and covered with the unique Hit the North cork wallpaper by Drew Millward for The Monkey Puzzle Tree.

The striking sliding door is covered in a genuine Portuguese cork print, designed by renowned artist Drew Millward for The Monkey Puzzle Tree. Drew’s signature style reflects the architecture of Northern England, punctuated by the iconic skull, light bulb and rose motifs and the odd black cat. The ‘ Hit the North ’ wallpaper is beautifully printed onto real cork.

The sideboard is partially painted with a durable black furniture paint. The cabinet has a beautiful original glass sliding door with gold stripes. The wood has been brought back to life and durably protected with Osmo hardwax. The cabinet stands on the original vintage legs with brass socks.

Drew Millward has done incredible work for bands like the Arctic Monkeys and the Foo Fighters. His signature illustration style and understated color palette are instantly recognizable.

The back wall of the display section is covered with a subtle gold stripe wallpaper that is protected by several layers of high-quality varnish. The vintage sideboard has 2 sliding doors. Everything runs smoothly.

The cork print is protected with multiple layers of high-quality varnish, which gives it a durable finish. The painted parts are also protected with varnish. So you can clean it with a slightly damp cloth. Preferably no cleaning agent, that is often too aggressive. Scratching objects such as ceramics can best be provided with a layer of felt or a coaster. Ceramics quickly get scratches when you move them.
